Project Summary
Vittas is an innovative platform focused on providing solutions for medical loan management and healthcare product distribution. The goal was to design a mobile app that empowers users to easily manage their medical loans and access necessary healthcare products.
Problem Statement
Users of Vittas International faced difficulties navigating complex healthcare financing options. The existing process was cumbersome, and there was a lack of a user-friendly interface to simplify loan management and product accessibility.
Goals
Simplify the loan application and management process for users.
Integrate healthcare product access within the app to provide a seamless experience.

Research
User Research
We conducted user interviews with 15 existing Vittas customers to understand their pain points. The key findings revealed that users were frustrated with the confusing loan application process and found it difficult to track their loan status.
Market Research
Our market research included analyzing competitor apps in the healthcare financing space. We identified that most competitors lacked a comprehensive solution that combined loan management with healthcare product access, highlighting a gap in the market.

My Design Process
Ideation
We began with brainstorming sessions to explore various solutions. The team proposed several concepts, including a streamlined loan application process and a personalized dashboard for tracking medical loans.
Wireframing
I created wireframes that focused on simplifying the user journey. The layout was designed to be intuitive, with clear navigation and easily accessible information. The wireframes were shared with stakeholders for feedback.
Prototyping
A high-fidelity prototype was developed using Figma. The prototype included interactive elements that allowed stakeholders and users to experience the app's flow. Feedback from user testing led to several iterations to enhance usability.
User Testing
We conducted usability testing with 10 participants, focusing on the ease of navigating the app and completing tasks such as applying for a loan. The tests revealed that users appreciated the simplicity but suggested improvements in the loan approval notification process.
Visual Design
The final design featured a clean and modern interface with a focus on ease of use. The color scheme was chosen to convey trust and reliability, while the typography was selected for readability on mobile devices.



Collaboration and Challenges
I worked closely with the front-end developer to ensure that the design was implemented as envisioned. Regular check-ins and reviews were conducted to address any issues promptly. One of the main challenges was ensuring that the loan application process was secure yet easy to navigate. We overcame this by incorporating multi-step authentication that didn't overwhelm the user.
Outcomes
The app was launched successfully, and within the first three months, user engagement increased by 40%, and loan application completion rates rose by 25%. Users reported a more satisfying experience in managing their healthcare finances.
The stakeholders were highly satisfied with the final product. They particularly appreciated the app's intuitive design and the way it addressed user pain points effectively.
Lesson Learned
This project reinforced the importance of user feedback at every stage of the design process. Early and continuous testing helped us refine the app to better meet user needs.
